| MgC is a small gaming community of friends which is originally formed in the year 2002 by SnooZe, Lone Wolve (loon) and Y.T. MgC stands for Machine Gun Canaries which means nothing special to us.. it just sounds funny. The past: MgC started with MOHAA, and that game was our main game for about 6 years. In that period MgC was a well known and respected clan in the scene. We attended on every CB ladder and organized our own cups (yellow fever I / II). We also had a COD1 / COD2 / BF2 and Counterstrike source squad for a while but for some reason only the mohaa squad was able to keep their members and stay alive . After 6 years of playing the mohaa scene seemed to die slowly and late 2007 we swapped to moh:airborne. Sadly enough this game was not good enough and a lot of members left to play WoW or quit gaming. A period of 4 months inactivity followed. These days are still considered as “the black days of MgC”. It was because the friendship and loyalty of a few fellow members MgC was able to survive that period. Lucky for us Moh:airborne was soon a history game after the release of COD4:MW. Nowdays: MgC plays COD4 on a high level, we currently have 1 team. We also have a Starcraft II team and a lot of friends / members who are on our voice server to play different games and talk about everything what’s on their mind. MgC players are not only skilled players who are playing a competitive game.. We all know each other personally as friends and we meet up several times a year on BBQ’s, Party’s and LAN’s. |
