| Thank you for taking the time to read what Edmonton Gamers is all about. Edmonton Gamers embodies the present and the future of Edmontons video game culture. Edmonton Gamers was formed in 2006, starting off as a simple tournament group, coming from a single basement to thirty video game tournaments helf over three years. We are now a large and growing community with over one hundred members strong. One of our goals is to nullify the social stigma commonly attatched to playing video games. This is no longer a small form of entertainment, but a tool that can be used to generate fun and potentiall long lasting friendships. Another of our goals is to keep gamers connected within the city to all of the events that take place, from the tournaments to the casual hang outs for simple video game meet ups. |
