The beginning... Our gaming-history started in the summer of 1999 when most of us started playing quake3. About 6 months later we got together in our first "real" clan. About 80 % of our current squad played for BU (Belgium United). BU stayed together for about 1 year. After that some internal fights ended up in the clan splitting up. 2nd try: Time passed. Everyone moved on and joined another clan untill, 4-5 months after the end of BU, we got together again when clan Lost was born. Our 2nd attempt to create a fun and competitive clan seemed to work better. Lost stayed alive for about 1,5 year when the clan split up again, this time due to inactivity. After Lost some of us got inactive while others played on. 911/inD: In the christmas-holidays at the end of 2002, XaeroX took the initiative to start all over again. One week later clan 911 was born. Our goal was still the same goal we had for almost 2 years now, enjoying the game while still trying to win as much as possible. Our core-team got back together. We joined several leagues and cups. We changed the clanname to inD for several reasons. When we discovered a rtcw-clan with the exact same tag, we decided to give it a try and merged together. This has lead us to where we are now. Standing at a new chapter we have the intention to rise above our current level. But we"ll see what the future has in store for us :) Our results since the beginning of that year have been quite good. We managed to get into division 1 of the joltq3dml (got relegated afterwards as some clans with "bigger" names joined the competition). Against all odds we played a very good season in the BWq3dml (ending 3rd), we"re now hoping to put down a better result. CB open cup was the least succesfull competition so far, but we intend to do better next time. We also played some fun cups (mostly CTF), best result there was a semi final in the CB benelux cup. After some top multigaming clan ( cow ) we created back on our own internal life, with XaeroX aka dimm as leader, in the beginning only with a Quake III Arena squad, later also with an Unreal Tournament 2004 squad. Now, together with our Unreal Tournament 2004 squad, we decided to take the clan even further and found it a nice idea to start OCC-Gaming, and with that also bringing in two new topsquads : a Call of Duty and a Unreal Tournament iCTF squad! |
