Pantheon Gaming   id:  4504995
Pantheon Gaming was established in May 2008 with the primary goal of forming South Africa’s first successful gaming organisation. The organisation will attempt to bring all elements of gaming into one corporation starting with three of the most popular and up and coming games in South Africa.

The whole idea of Pantheon started with discussions between Rob "Gridlock" Clegg, Steve "roskii" Roberts and Matthew "dement1a" Weaver regarding a new future for South African gaming. There is a general feeling that this country’s gaming has a lot of potential but this potential is not being harnessed and we decided to take a step to rectify this. Initial discussions then moved forward and the assistance of Paul "Vetoll" Fairback was gained, who could provide a lot of the required resources and expertise required for the implementation of the plan.

The organisation was initially formed by three of the top clans from their respective games, namely Plasma (Counter-strike: Source), 0wn3d (DotA) and Damage Control Fortress (Team Fortress 2). These games were chosen for their respective features and competitive qualities but mainly due to the fact that these are the games that are most likely to be sustainable in the future in South Africa after the collapse of Counter-strike 1.6.

The organization itself aims to promote gaming in South Africa and take each of its respective games to a new level. The core structure of the organization is primarily concerned with the growth of gaming in South Africa with respect to the games of the organization and any future games that emerge. With the help of our partners and members of Pantheon Gaming, we are looking to create a new perception of gaming in South Africa with a professional outlook that is deserving of a competitive electronic sport. The organization is very privileged to be lead by a team of dynamic leaders who all share a common interest of promoting gaming and reaching a brand new level in South Africa.

We hope that with the help and the support from the community that we will be able to create a sustainable future for all gamers in South Africa. From this we can build a perception of gaming that is similar to what is observed in the overseas gaming arenas.

Please note Pantheon Gaming does not represent South Africa as affiliated with MSSA, we are merely South African residents.
