| According to Hesiod, the Hydra was the offspring of Typhon and Echidna. It possessed many heads. Later versions of the Hydra story add a regeneration feature to the monster: for every head chopped off, the Hydra would regrow a couple of heads. In theory, whenever HYDRAs team loses a teammate, the remaining players become 2x as dangerous- likely from adaptation and understanding how the other team attacks or defends, this is also helpful to the deceased players returning rounds.
