The history of our group Amarok starts on a small but well-known game, "Star Wars Empire At War." Majority of our founders and group's members crossed paths amongst a clan known as TrueSith while playing this legendary RTS game. As TrueSith, we were revered as one of the more formidable competitive gaming clans of the game's expansion, "Forces of Corruption," next to THX and EotH. We participated in several community-based tournaments on "FoC" in which we were the top clan at the majority. By the time of Gamespy's shutdown in 2014, our closely knit group had been exploring other game avenues such as, NavyField, Ark Survival Evolved, CSGO, and eventually ending up at Rainbow Six Siege where "Clan Ordo" was born. Due to conflicts with our name, we renamed our group "Amarok Esports," or just Amarok for short. Our name is based on the tales of a massive wolf from Intuit mythology. Our main game of competitive focus is of course playing and streaming Rainbow Six Siege. However, we also encourage and take part in playing/streaming several other games including but not limited to: Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA5) Star Wars The Old Republic (SWTOR) Player Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) League of Legends (LoL) Overwatch Minecraft Age of Empires (AoE) We are open to all forms of gaming big and small. Streaming is just our way of bringing the entertainment of the games to you. As well as allowing our growing fan base discover new ways to play and enjoy the concept of gaming and competitive gaming. “We live in a society too focused on physical strength, on sculpted muscles and athletic skill. Those are helpful, yes. A necessity to any warrior. But the true secret of power isn't strength but resilience. How much a warrior can take before falling. For you can shoot as many rounds as you want and still drop when you take a single one. But the ability to take rounds as well as send them is what separates the cannon fodder from true warriors.” – Alic Dzadz, celebrated Mandalorian strategist. |
