.......we are back for Unreal Tournament 4!

Death's Embrace was one of the biggest opponent of any highclass team in Unreal Tournament 99 Capture the Flag (CTF).

Created in 2001 by KunGLaO, Team-DE went through a process of recruiting the most highskilled players out of the UT99 CTF community.
In 2002 the top management got extended with owNeR and Team-DE did reach another level by taking part in the first highskilled Division 1 Tournament in Clanbase.
A successful CTF-team out of acid, eNigMa, cR4zY-n, cyberhrc and owNeR was born, catching UT99's hottest award in 2003: A Clanbase Eurocup CTF gold trophy.

Reputable players did join and support Team-DE to grow and to become the most successful team in the history of UT99.

In a decade of more than 8 years of gaming, Team-DE had more than 100 Members and a lot of player changes and team creations in the different game modes of UT99, UT2004, UT3, Counter-Strike 1.6, Wolfenstein RTCW, Enemy Territory, Battlefield 1942, Warcraft 3 and Jedi Outcast.

The QuakeNet channel of #Team-DE had a peak of over 800 users.
Team-DE had 1000 hours of fragging and legendary matches versus offensive Gaming, iNzane, Mavericks or Sanctuary. Some players know each other for more than 15 years now: friendships were born.

Death's Embrace last UT99 CTF match was the final of the 2009 Clanbase OpenCup vs Sanctuary (san): The winning team consisted of acid, Ayumi, eNigMa, mighty, owNeR and syphz.
