| Guild Wars Europe, an official international fansite of Guild Wars, was founded by Mickey (Achil Garil) and Simon (Belidon). These two people met a while before Guild Wars Europe was actually founded. Simon, back then still a staff member of theguildwars.net and founder of the Dragon Warriors Guild (the biggest and oldest guild in that time), and Mickey (who was founding a guild with a friend of him) met each other when the two guilds wanted to start an alliance. Mickey came in contact with Simon and after talking a lot about Guild Wars and other things, they came up with the idea to start a fansite for Guild Wars. The first project didn't really happened but after a while they started another one. Guild Wars Europe was founded by Mickey and co-founded by Simon. Both of them have put a lot of time and effort into the site to let it become what it is today. Now, Guild Wars Europe starts its own guild under the leading hand of Mickey & Simon. This Guild will represent Guild Wars Europe in Tyria. Centuria Europa, will create its own heroic story in Guild Wars. In June 2005 the GWE-server had a data-base crash and Achil decided he no longer wanted to take care of the site. In the mean time Belidon joined a Battlefield clan and lost interest in Guild Wars. Before he left I accepted the leadership of CEN and I'm now trying to get this guild back together and turning it into a respectable european guild. August 2005: After winning the Hall of Heroes as a guild-team we decide to reform our guild so we could now fully bear the [CEN] tag. October 2005: GWEurope is been rebuild and will soon be launched under the URL: www.gweurope.info, their forums will become the new home to the Centuria. ~~Qanar Amsirva~~ |
