| Imperox was formed on May 22nd 2002 as a Return To Castle Wolfenstein (RTCW) clan. At the end of July 2002 the newly formed team took part in an online qualifying competition called The GamesDomain Championships, through online qualification one.soldier were able to attend the LAN held on the 8th of September, managing to take a respectable 4th position against such legendary RTCW clans such a Lemmings and 4Kings. In December 2002 the team attended Intel Masters Gaming championship, which took the team to a new level of professional game play and respect from the community. The expectations of team and the players had, couldnt be fulfilled (expecting to place 3rd) and were knocked out at the start of the competition by none other then sykotic. Following the Intel Masters tournament the world famous Quakecon was released. The team striving for the LAN wins took it among themselves to join Last Chance gaming that helped them travel to Dallas. The team were knocked out again by the world famous 4Kings in the opening rounds by an unlucky draw by one soldier. The clan lay dormant until July 2003 when the team recruited a squad for the popular free game Enemy Territory (a mini sequel to RTCW) to compete in online gaming tournaments such as: - Warleagues Clanbase Fall cup premier Clanbase opencup premier In 2006 the squad reformed under new management. We currently have an Enemy Territory squad and RTCW squad playing to a high standard. We have very high expectations and will strive to compete at the highest level possible. |
