| VAV GAMING are an e-sports organization legally registered in Portugal and internationally with its own brand being one of the few organizations registered under the e-sports worldwide. It was founded on January 4, 2012 by a young entrepreneur, Paul Mendes, the gamer known as \\\"Alma\\\" in Lisbon Portugal which brought to existence a serious e-sports project, structured and with well-defined objectives. The \\\"Alma\\\" printed a true soul to the project, keeping in mind the need of having the concept of professional gaming competition within a friendly environment reflecting strong values: - Friendship is the bind that unites us all. - We respect each other and we know that each of us is a unique human being and has a world of its own. - We take responsibility for our actions and we take our commitments till the end. - With sincerity and openness, those are the ties that bind us together are make us stronger. - Always comply with the rules established, but we can always freely express our suggestions. - All of us have always something to learn and we always have something to teach. - Believing in ourselves, I know that I can achieve my goals and when i see difficulties I see them as opportunities for learning which will lead me to be better in what I do. We thus understand the slogan with which, from the outset, the VAV GAMING became announced: \\\"Much more than an organization ...\\\" Few months later after the announcement of the birth of the organization to the e-Sports, the VAV GAMING started the process of recruiting skilled professionals and graduates in various areas, in response to the exponential growth of the number of members, thus forming the basis of its organizational structure . Thus, it were created departments of Human Resources, Finance, Legal and Marketing, as well as other positions Direction: Games & Infrastructure Division, where we attended the hiring of John C. Palma, Ana A. Mendes, Rita C. Acúrcio, Richard J. Rita, Patricia M. Ribeiro, Rui P. Milk and Nuno M. Jerónimo. At the same time, negotiations began for the establishment of partnerships, giving the opportunity to the members of the organization to enjoy privileges when purchasing goods or services marketed by partner organizations. The VAV GAMING, with a already estabilished solid organizational structure presence and external support, began to focus their attention on the recruitment of professionals and semi-professionals, since marking its strong presence in the following games: - League of Legends; - Counter Strike Go; - Arctic Combat; - Starcraft 2; - Dota 2; - PES 2013. - Shootmania. These teams then began to rely on monetary incentives and prizes, being defined within the conditions of awards and logistical support at events where the presence of VAV GAMING gets noticed. Our organization distinguishes itself not only by the quality of its teams in different games, but also by supporting the activity of online gaming worldwide and having social responsibility within our teams and members regarding society and the world in which we all live in to make it a better place to be.
