Alpha Force's Story

How it began

Alpha Force was originally founded on August 6th of 2006. It began as a consequence of a rupture of 11 members from one of the biggest and more important clans in the history of Brazilian Battlefield, The Blitzkriegers. The Alphas decided, then, to follow a distinct road from your father-clan, however using what they had learned regarding organization, discipline and game tactics.

Once founded, Alpha Force on its first founder assembly chose what would be the clan principles that would guide them through the rest of its existence. Many good principles could have been chosen: to have a glorious path with many titles, hold only skilled players, acquire recognition in a many game franchises, all of those would have been good principles. But it was not what they’ve chosen.

They chose only two principles: Friendship and Equality. From those two, all rules were made, and foremost, the clan spirit. Thus, no one would have power of influence over anyone, the clan belonged to everyone in it, equally. And even more important than that was the Friendship. The clan Union was seen as its core, the pillar that sustains all the rest, from the beginning this Union could be seen when the members assembled and left a prestigious and well-known clan on their on will, to start their own clan, on their own way.

And that’s what they’ve done.

They were:

Phoenix, Falcão Negro, Phantom, Deejay, Gergilim, Piu, P7, Infernim, Rage, Case, Presidente.

The history

When it was born Alpha Force was well received by all the Brazilian Battlefield community. Great clans such as Animaniacs and Seek n´ Destroy showed from the beginning that they were Alpha’s Allies, fact that was very important for the clan credibility in the national scene.

As time went by, Alpha Force showed itself as a competitive clan that would compete for titles and ranks among the main clans of that time. Proof of that was the clan’s performance on its first BFCup 8 vs. 8, when Alpha Force reached the championship final stages even with it been carried out a few months from Alpha Force foundation.

Alpha Force soon became known, made their own site, forum and server and recruited new members. Being an Alpha was not for anyone; recruitment of Alpha members was differentiated from others by accepting only players who had profile identity with the clan. Uncommon skill was never a necessity to be a member, however, were expected from the candidate discipline, good reputation and primarily collective sense.
The consequence was the peculiar structure that the clan took over. Alpha Force was a clan with few members, but all very active, where there were no line disputes and the atmosphere of unity prevailed. Under these conditions, new and very important members arrived to empower the ranks of Alpha Force, they were:

Striker, Pedro Fluminense, Xeep, Brisa, Soco e Sizeloko.

At that time in history of the clan, the Alpha Force was already recognized and respected by all the other great clans, always entering championships as a true contender to the title. But it was only in the first edition of BFCup 5 vs. 5 that Alpha Force showed his true strength.

That tournament was held in a format until then unheard of in Brazil. The first BFCup 5 vs. 5 was the first opportunity that the clans’ infantry had to show all their pure skill. Also, this particular league had an utmost importance in bringing back the dynamism to the competitive scene, since the competitive Battlefield found himself in a period of less activity.

And it was then that the Alpha Force met all expectations created around it. After a perfect campaign in the first stage of the tournament, a flawless victory over the second team of Head Hunters in Mashtuur City, a major controversy involving the Fúria PK3 and a semi-final of a technical level never seen before with the first team of the Head Hunters in the the famous map Strike at Karkand, with miraculous comebacks from both teams on the first two rounds, the Alpha Force went to the finals of the championship. The week before the finals, the Alphas, contrary to what the Brazilian Battlefield community was thinking, proved that their relationship with their father-clan, Blitzkriegers, was not rivalry, but rather of respect, admiration and cooperation. In this relationship, the Alpha Force trained everyday with Blitzkriegers in order to be prepared for the final match with Animaniacs. Alpha Force then proved why they got there, they fought like never in the map Road to Jalalabad, and in the end, by a score of 2 rounds to 1, Alpha Force became champion of the first championship in an new format Battlefield 2 promoted in our country.
